Kintsugi Projects I

It's been a year since I started the lesson.
Though progress is not as swift as I want to,
I've finished some projects.
金継ぎ始めて１年。少しずつ仕上がってきたものがあるので
記録してきたいと思います。

Here is my first one. Sake wine cup.
これはぐい飲み。骨董品屋さんで、割れているからと
５０円でもらったもの。

Actually, the tiny part was missing but it came with a close piece from a different cup by mistake.
So, I shaved the little piece into the shape of the missing part and used as a replacement.
実は、一つ、このぐい飲みのものではないかけらが一緒にはいっていて。それをなくなった破片の形に削って、そこに納めました。よそから呼んできたもので継ぐから呼び継ぎというのだそうです。
